Paternity Leave: An Entitlement for Eligible New Fathers
New fathers in the Ghana Education Service are entitled to up to five working days of paternity leave under the GES Collective Agreement for Teaching Staff. Eligible employees must provide a medical certificate or report showing the expected date of confinement. The leave is separate from annual leave and should be requested through the proper administrative channels.
