The Ashanti Regional Education Directorate wishes to inform all Metropolitan, Municipal and District Directors, Regional Managers of Education Units and Heads of Schools that Friday, 25 September 2026 has been declared National Continuous Professional Development (CPD) Day.
The declaration was communicated by GES Headquarters in a letter dated 15 September 2026, as part of the continuous development of staff.
The 25th September, 2025 National CPD Day will be observed under the theme:
“Assessment in the Age of Artificial Intelligence (AI), Empowering Teachers to Assess Learning.”
Regional Directorate wishes to use this opportunity to disseminate the information to all District Directorates and Heads of schools and to coordinate the necessary arrangements to ensure full participation and successful implementation of the CPD activities.
