The Ashanti Regional Education Directorate of the Ghana Education Service provides leadership, supervision and support for pre-tertiary education across the Ashanti Region. Working with schools, teachers, parents and stakeholders, it promotes quality, equitable and inclusive learning while strengthening education delivery, innovation and accountability across 43 district directorates and 144 senior high schools.
The Ashanti Regional Directorate of the Ghana Education Service has met with District Early Childhood Education Coordinators to review progress, share best practices and address challenges in delivering early childhood education. The discussion highlighted the vital role of KG teachers and the need for supportive learning environments to strengthen children’s holistic development across the region.
The Ashanti Regional Education Directorate is upgrading its office complex with a major facelift aimed at creating a more modern, functional and welcoming environment. The renovation includes new aesthetic features and planned additions such as a car park, security post and cafeteria, while the Directorate also strengthens school monitoring, innovation and technology use across the region.
