The Ashanti Regional Directorate of the Ghana Education Service has launched the Ashanti GES Staff Band alongside the Ashanti High Schools Music Fiesta 2026. The initiatives aim to promote music, creativity and artistic expression among education staff and students across the Ashanti Region, while celebrating talent and supporting arts in education.

The discussion highlighted the vital role of KG teachers and the need for supportive learning environments to strengthen children’s holistic development across the region.
The Ashanti Regional Education Directorate is upgrading its office complex with a major facelift aimed at creating a more modern, functional and welcoming environment. The renovation includes new aesthetic features and planned additions such as a car park, security post and cafeteria, while the Directorate also strengthens school monitoring, innovation and technology use across the region.
